Hello and thank you for visiting my SmugMug site.

If you are interested, here is a little bit about me.

I have been shooting photos for about 5 years on and off with a serious interest over the last couple of years.

My first SLR camera was a Canon EOS 1000 and was a traditional 35mm film camera - I had this way back in the early 1990's then after dropping it on a holiday in Cornwall (and breaking it) I had a break of photography until Digital cameras become more prevalent.

My digital interest started with a Nikon D40 that changed into a D80 and then again into a D90, which is now my main camera. I have a small selection of lenses including a 50mm f1.4, a Sigma 105mm macro lens and a Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens.

I am currently preparing my self to aim for a D700 in an attempt to develop an interest in Wedding photography.

I would be lying if I said I was out taking photos every minute of every day as my real life (work and family) do not allow for this. I shoot when I can if the inspiration is there.

In my other life I am a husband and father of one girl, Lucy, and work as an Intensive Care nurse. I hope you enjoy my photographs, please feel free to comment :D
